Max Verstappen puts up a 1’29.896 to go quickest on mediums. Most drivers are on that rubber, though Albon is on hards. Pierre Gasly, who set the pace in the first session, goes second, four tenths of a second behind.

Bad news for Gabriel Bortoleto: Sauber discovered a fuel leak on his car after first practice. He will not take part in the second practice session as they are investigating the cause.
